A tale of two Easters

The weather in England is nothing if not unpredictable -

Easter 2011

How can we possibly go from thick snow in 2008 to blazing hot sunshine in 2011?  We are having better weather than Portugal and Spain!  Looks like it may be Easter Sunday lunch in the garden tomorrow.

Yes! We flew back after 2 weeks in Sunny Florida and kind of feel ripped off that we missed the UK good weather. Ah well, can't have our cake and eat it as they say. : )

Well now, there's a fresh looking blog for Easter! I like it. You asked about mine - I am hopeless at this kinf of thing, so my design was a birthday gift from my kind husband last Summer. I hunted about for a reasonable priced designer and then he paid. My bigger photo I got simply by selecting extra large instead of large when I was uploading. Hth and Happy Easter Deb!

We usually have a big traditional family 'high tea' on Easter Sunday....but this year it's going to be a BBQ.

Fabulous new blog header, perfect for the current weather! My grandparents live in Frinton so I remember many happy days spent at the beach there in my childhood.
Yes the weather is crazy isn't it, and I want to make the most of it now in case we have another horrible summer! x

Love your new blog layout - WOW - almost didn't recognize it! And wishing we had your weather right now. Today is chilly, rainy, grey, about 45 F. Sarah is not happy that she left the warmth of London and came home to this.
